About

As the first company to miniaturize plasma generators and commercialize plasma skin care devices, Plabio strives to be at the forefront of technological innovations, pioneering a healthier, cleaner, and better life through plasma technology.

To achieve this, we understand that our business’s core lies within and is driven by our research and development team. Our engineers and scientists comprise of some of the best in the world, and partake in extensive resarch, conducting countless tests and experiments to pioneer breakthroughs in the field of plasma technology.

As we strive towards our mission, Plabio will continue to move forward and apply plasma technology across various household appliances — skin care, scalp care, air purification, humidifiers — to ultimately standardize plasma technology in our everyday lives.

Plasma Science

Defining Plasma

Plasma is the fourth and final state of matter, following solid, liquid, and gas.
Although 99% of all matter in the universe exist in plasma state, plasma does
not naturally exist on Earth. This means plasma must be artificially generated to be utilized and maintained under standard surface conditions.

Due to its many properties, plasma is widely utilized in multiple industries with applications in the semiconductor, energy, space and environmental industries. Creating new applications of plasma, Plabio has expanded the scope of plasma into the beauty, medical, air purification, and home appliance sectors.

Generating Plasma

Generating plasma involves applying approximately 100,000℃ of heat to gas particles. When this amount of energy is delivered, electrons in the atmosphere accelerate and collide with other particles to go through ionization, ultimately transitioning into plasma state where matter is incredibly active and holds significant amounts of energy.
